Documents Required for DU CSAS(PG) – 2026 Application
Candidates must upload scanned copies of the required certificates/documents while filling out the DU CSAS PG 2026 application form. Original documents must be produced during physical verification at the respective Department/Centre/College.
Mandatory Documents DU CSAS PG 2026 Application
- Candidate’s photograph (auto-integrated).
- Candidate’s signature (auto-integrated).
- Class 10 certificate or proof of Date of Birth. The Date of Birth must match the details provided in the CUET(PG) – 2026 application form.
- Marksheet of the qualifying degree examination. The candidate’s name on the marksheet must match the name mentioned in the CUET(PG) – 2026 form.
Category/Reservation Certificates DU CSAS PG 2026 application form
- SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/CW/PwBD/SGC/KM certificates issued in the candidate’s name by the competent authority. The candidate’s name and parents’ names must exactly match the details mentioned in the school board certificate and CUET(PG) – 2026 form.
- OBC-NCL Certificate:
- Must be issued in the candidate’s name by the competent authority.
- Candidate and parents’ names must match official records.
- Certificate must be issued after March 31, 2026.
- The candidate’s caste must appear in the Central OBC List of the National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC).
- Certificate format should follow Annexure III.
- EWS Certificate:
- Must be issued in the candidate’s name by the competent authority.
- Candidate and parents’ names must match official records.
- Income certificate must be issued after March 31, 2026.
- Certificate format should follow Annexure III.
Sports Quota Documents DU CSAS PG 2026
- Candidates applying under the Sports Supernumerary Quota must upload self-attested copies of relevant sports certificates and produce originals whenever required.
- Candidates applying for B.P.Ed. or M.P.Ed. must upload:
- Medical Fitness Certificate (as per Annexure III format)
- Up to three Sports Proficiency Certificates

PwBD and CW Category Documents
- PwBD candidates must upload a disability certificate:
- Issued by a recognized Government Hospital
- Bearing the candidate’s photograph
- Certificates issued after June 1, 2021 must comply with Gazette Notification No. 1736(E) dated May 5, 2021 and be processed through the UDID portal.
- Older certificates will be considered as per existing rules.
- Candidates applying under the CW category must upload:
- Educational Concession Certificate (ECC) clearly mentioning priority
- Required supporting documents as specified in Chapter 21
- ECC format must follow Annexure III.
Supernumerary Quota Documents
- Candidates applying under the UoD Ward Quota must upload a valid employment certificate of their parent(s) issued by authorized officials. ID cards, Aadhaar cards, or other documents will not be accepted.
- Candidates applying under the Orphan Quota must upload:
- Certificate from a Government-recognized orphanage/charitable home, or
- Death certificates of both parents.
- Candidates applying under the Single Girl Child Quota must upload an affidavit from the father, mother, or guardian (if parents are deceased) in the prescribed Annexure III format.
Other Required Documents
- Copy of Identity Card for UoD graduates. Other candidates must upload a Migration Certificate or an undertaking if the certificate has not yet been issued.
- Candidates whose results are awaited by the last date of CSAS(PG) – 2026 applications must submit an undertaking confirming they will meet the minimum eligibility criteria and pass the qualifying examination on or before October 31, 2026.
- Women candidates applying for NCWEB PG programmes must upload a valid residence proof such as:
- Aadhaar Card
- PAN Card
- EPIC/Voter ID
- Passport
- Driving License
- Ration Card
The document must contain the candidate’s name.
Basis of Admission to BPEd, Music and Fine Arts DU CSAS PG 2026
ï‚·Candidates applying for the following programmes must appear for an Audition Test conducted by the Department of Music, University of Delhi:
- M.A. (Hindustani Music) Vocal/Instrumental (Sitar, Sarod, Guitar, Violin, Santoor)
- M.A. (Karnataka Music) Vocal/Instrumental
- M.A. Percussion (Tabla/Pakhawaj)
Candidates applying for B.P.Ed. and M.P.Ed. programmes must appear for a Sports Proficiency Test conducted by the Department of Physical Education.
Candidates applying for the following programmes must appear for a Practical-Based Test conducted by the College of Art:
- M.F.A. (Applied Arts)
- M.F.A. (Printmaking)
- M.F.A. (Sculpture)
- M.F.A. (Painting)
- M.F.A. (Visual Communication)
Preparation of the merit list for DU CSAS PG 2026 Admission
- 50% weightage from the CUET(PG) – 2026 score as per programme-specific eligibility criteria.
- 50% weightage from the marks obtained in the Audition/Sports Proficiency/Practical Test.
Shortlisting for the offline tests will be done as follows:
- For Music programmes, candidates up to five times the number of sanctioned seats in each category will be called based on CUET(PG) – 2026 scores.
- For Sports Proficiency and Practical-Based Tests, candidates up to seven times the number of sanctioned seats in each category will be called.
The Audition/Sports Proficiency/Practical Tests will generally be completed within one week. Marks obtained by candidates in these tests will be uploaded on the official website/portal within seven working days from the last date of the concerned test.
If required, additional candidates may be invited for the Audition/Sports Proficiency/Practical Test to ensure all seats are filled.
Important Instructions for Admitted Candidates DU CSAS PG 2026 Application Form
All admitted candidates must report to their allotted Department, Centre, or College and complete the required admission formalities, including physical verification of documents and certificates, as per the notification issued by the concerned institution.
Admission will remain purely provisional until the original documents are verified by the respective Department/Centre/College.
The concerned Department/Centre/College will thoroughly recheck all submitted documents and certificates. If, during physical verification, any document or certificate is found to be inadequate, insufficient, invalid, or inappropriate, the candidate’s admission will be cancelled immediately.
In such cases, the candidate will also lose the opportunity to seek admission to any postgraduate programme of the University of Delhi for the Academic Session 2026–27.

Mid-Entry Provision for DU CSAS( PG) – 2026 Application form
Candidates who could not apply for CSAS(PG) – 2026 within the prescribed application period may still participate through the Mid-Entry window, whenever announced by the University, by paying a non-refundable Mid-Entry fee of ₹1000.
Mid-Entry registration will be considered valid only after successful payment of the required fee.
Candidates applying through Mid-Entry will not have any claim over seats allotted to candidates who applied during the initial application phase of CSAS(PG) – 2026. Such candidates may only be considered for admission in subsequent allocation rounds, subject to:
- Fulfilment of eligibility criteria
- Availability of seats
- Compliance with CSAS(PG) – 2026 rules and regulations
Once a seat is allocated to a Mid-Entry candidate, accepting the admission offer becomes mandatory. Failure to accept the allotted seat will result in forfeiture of the candidate’s right to seek admission to the University of Delhi.
