Key General Instructions for Candidates

  • Interested and eligible candidates who possess the required qualification from a recognized university and relevant experience can attend the walk-in interview/skill test with the prescribed application form (Annexure-I), a recent colored photograph, and self-attested copies of educational certificates, date of birth proof, and experience certificates.
  • If the number of candidates is large, a theory test may be conducted in multiple stages before the interview/skill test.
  • The Interview/Skill Test will be held in the Activity Room, Academic Block of Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences (IHBAS), Dilshad Garden, Delhi – 110095.
  • Candidate documents/testimonials will be verified at a later stage.
  • Incomplete application forms will be rejected.
  • Selected candidates will not be entitled to facilities available to regular employees and will not have any claim for regularization of service.
  • The institute reserves the right to increase/decrease vacancies, not fill posts, or cancel the advertisement without assigning any reason.
  • Eligibility and age will be calculated as on the date of interview.
  • Only Delhi OBC candidates are eligible for reservation benefits and must produce a caste certificate issued by the competent authority of GNCT Delhi on or before the interview date. SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD candidates must possess valid category certificates.
  • Candidates must bring all original documents for verification.
  • Reporting time is between 09:30 AM and 11:00 AM on the interview/skill test date. No candidate will be allowed after the reporting deadline.
  • Delhi Medical Council registration certificate is mandatory for the post of Medical Officer.
  • Nursing Council registration certificate is mandatory for Project Nurse-II and Project Nurse-III posts.

Job Description – Laboratory Technician for HIV Viral Load Project

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Performing routine viral load testing.
  2. Assisting the Technical Officer in preparing technical SOPs.
  3. Maintaining documentation as per National Viral Load Guidelines.
  4. Maintaining all samples in the sample repository for future evaluation.
  5. Ensuring repository samples are not used for research purposes.
  6. Maintaining and calibrating automated laboratory equipment.
  7. Conducting testing only for NACO-approved samples.
  8. Maintaining confidentiality of specimens at all stages.
  9. Sharing accountability with the Technical Officer for laboratory reports.
  10. Entering data into IMS.
  11. Dispatching reports to ART centres on time.
  12. Attending training programs organized by NACO/SACS.
  13. Assisting in training related to sample collection and transportation for linked sites.
  14. Performing other duties assigned by the Lab In-charge and SACS.
