1. Biju Patnaik Award for Scientific Excellence
This award is presented to senior scientists for their exceptional contributions to scientific research.
Eligibility
- Scientists must be 60 years or above as on:
- 31 December 2024 for Award Year 2025
- 31 December 2025 for Award Year 2026
2. Samanta Chandra Sekhar Award
This award recognizes distinguished scientists for their scientific achievements.
Eligibility
- Scientists should not exceed 60 years of age as on:
- 31 December 2024 for Award Year 2025
- 31 December 2025 for Award Year 2026
3. Odisha Young Scientists Award
The award aims to encourage young researchers making remarkable contributions to science.
Eligibility
- Maximum age should be 35 years as on:
- 31 December 2024 for Award Year 2025
- 31 December 2025 for Award Year 2026
4. Pranakrushna Parija Popular Science Book Award
This award is meant for authors of popular science books published in Odisha.
The award is available in:
- General Category
- Children’s Category
Applicants can apply in either one category during an award year.
5. Felicitation of Senior Scientists of Odisha
This honour recognizes senior scientists for their lifelong contribution to science.
Eligibility
- Scientists must be 65 years or above as on:
