New CBSE Syllabus The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has recently announced updates to the syllabus for classes 3 and 6, effective from the academic session 2024–25. These revisions aim to enhance the learning experience, align with modern educational standards, and promote holistic development among students. According to recent reports, NCERT has communicated with CBSE, informing them about the impending release of revised syllabi following their collaborative meeting on March 14th. Alongside the syllabus updates, NCERT will also introduce a syllabus bridge program for Class 6 students and provide guidelines for Class 3 to CBSE, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS). This bridge course aims to facilitate a seamless transition for students as they adapt to the new educational framework

In response to directives from NCERT, CBSE has been urged to disseminate information regarding the revised timetable and alterations in time allocation for students in Classes 3 and 6. The aim is to implement activity-based learning initiatives at the onset of the academic year 2024-25, fostering a more engaging educational experience. NCERT has emphasized the importance of CBSE, KVS, and NVS collaborating effectively to facilitate the execution of the National Education Policy (NEP) at the school level, under the guidance of various educational committees and oversight bodies. The expeditious action taken by CBSE in coordination with KVS and NVS is highly anticipated and appreciated, as mentioned in the communication from the NCERT director.
