The candidates can pursue 6 months internship at the CFEES a part of DRDO organization. The candidates will be selected on the basis of their last qualifying marks.

CFEES DRDO Paid Internship 2026: Selection Process & Important Instructions

Selection Procedure

1. Students must have an excellent academic record with at least 80% marks or 8.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale from an AICTE/UGC-approved university. Relevant mark sheets must be attached with the application.
2. The application should be recommended only for highly deserving and meritorious students by the Principal/Director of the institution through an official request letter.
3. Applicants must be below 28 years of age.
4. Candidates are required to submit a brief biodata of not more than 300 words.
5. Only shortlisted candidates will be informed regarding the joining process, submission of undertaking forms, and indemnity bond formalities to be completed by both the student and the institution head.

Boarding and Lodging

No boarding or lodging facilities will be provided. However, selected students may avail lunch, tea, snacks, and other refreshments at subsidized rates from the CFEES canteen.

Stipend Details

• Internship stipend will be applicable only if the student:
  • maintains good academic performance, and
  • completes a minimum of 15 working days of physical attendance per month.
• The stipend will be paid in two installments.
• The first installment will be released after completion of three months of training.
• Payment will be transferred directly to the student’s bank account.

Internship Completion & Certificate

Students who successfully:

• complete the internship training,
• clear the project evaluation,
• submit the project report, and
• fulfill all required formalities,

will receive a Certificate of Completion.

Students leaving the internship before completing the required tenure will neither receive the certificate nor any stipend payment.

Employment Clause

Completion of the internship does not guarantee employment at CFEES/DRDO. Interns cannot claim any right to employment based on participation in the internship program.

Important Instructions

• Selection will be strictly merit-based.

• CFEES management reserves the right to modify vacancies or selection criteria at any stage without prior notice.

Documents Required at the Time of Joining

Selected students must submit the following documents:

1. Original No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the college on official letterhead confirming:
   • permission for internship training at CFEES, and
   • minimum 15 working days attendance per month.
2. Police verification acknowledgment from the local police station.
3. Undertaking for compliance with the Indian Official Secrets Act, 1923.
4. Undertaking to follow Ministry of Defence IT rules and regulations.
5. Bank account details for stipend transfer.
6. Medical fitness certificate issued by an authorized MBBS doctor.
7. Original Aadhaar Card and College ID for verification.
8. Three passport-size photographs.
9. Original mark sheets of all previous semesters for verification.
10. Any additional documents requested at the time of selection/joining.
11. Indemnity form provided through the college, if required by CFEES.
