UPCOS Launched in Uttar Pradesh: 3.5 Lakh Outsourced Workers May Benefit
Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Government ने outsourced employees के लिए एक बड़ा कदम उठाते हुए Uttar Pradesh Outsourced Services Corporation (UPCOS) की शुरुआत की है। इसका उद्देश्य state में outsourced workforce के recruitment, deployment, attendance, salary और statutory benefits को एक ज्यादा transparent और digital system के तहत manage करना है।
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ने Lucknow में आयोजित कार्यक्रम में UPCOS का शुभारंभ किया। इस मौके पर UPCOS portal और website launch किए गए, corporation के logo का unveiling हुआ और UPCOS तथा State Bank of India (SBI) के बीच MoU का exchange भी किया गया। कार्यक्रम में outsourced workers को cheques भी वितरित किए गए।
What is UPCOS?
UPCOS को simple words में समझें तो यह Uttar Pradesh में outsourced employees के management के लिए एक centralised digital platform है।
इसका उद्देश्य recruitment से लेकर employee deployment, attendance, salary, statutory compliance और grievance redressal जैसे processes को एक integrated system में लाना है।

Why is UPCOS Important for Outsourced Employees?

Government ने यह भी बताया है कि remuneration को हर महीने की 5 तारीख तक employees तक पहुंचाने का target रखा गया है।

Chief Minister द्वारा दी गई जानकारी के अनुसार, prescribed categories के तहत employees को up to ₹40 lakh accident insurance cover मिल सकता है।
इसके अलावा accidental death, disability और medical emergencies से जुड़े support provisions भी बताए गए हैं।
यह feature इसलिए important है क्योंकि किसी employee के साथ accident होने पर उसका financial impact केवल employee तक सीमित नहीं रहता, बल्कि उसके पूरे family पर पड़ सकता है।
Grievance Redressal System
UPCOS में Grievance and Feedback System भी शामिल है।
अगर employee को salary, attendance, deduction या अन्य service-related issue है, तो वह grievance raise कर सकता है।
