What is JNV Lateral Entry Selection Test?

JNVs normally admit students mainly at the Class 6 level. However, some seats may become vacant in Class 11 after the existing JNV students move to the next class.

The Lateral Entry Selection Test is conducted to fill these vacant Class 11 seats.

But remember one important point: qualifying the test does not guarantee admission. Admission depends on merit, available seats, stream, category and other NVS conditions. Availability of accommodation at the concerned JNV is also considered.
