Jac Delhi Admission Eligibility Criteria of Minimum Marks in Qualifying Examination

B. Tech. Programmes offered by NSUT, DTU, IGDTUW, DSEU and Dual Degree B.Tech. (MAE) + MBA at IGDTUW A candidate must have secured 60% or more marks in an aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, and has passed English (Core or Elective) as a subject of study at the Senior School Certificate Examination level AND having JEE Main 2023 Rank (Paper-I) shall be eligible for admission to the B. Tech. programme provided he/she has passed in each subject separately.

B. Tech. Programmes at IIIT-D A candidate who has secured 70% or more marks in the aggregate of best of five subjects including Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics subject to 70% or more marks in Mathematics in the qualifying examination AND having JEE Main 2023 Rank (Paper I) shall be eligible for admission.

B. Arch. Programmes at NSUT and IGDTUW No candidate shall be admitted to B. Arch. Programme unless he/she has passed examination at the end of 10+2 scheme of examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English subjects or passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject, as the case may be AND qualified JEE Main 2023 (Paper-II) examination

Reservation

For DTU, IGDTUW, NSUT and DSEU only

  • Other Backward Class (OBC-NCL): 55%. 40
  • Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST): 50%.
  • Defence (CW): 55%.
  • Persons with Disabilities (PD): 50%. 2.4.2 For IIIT-D only (i) Other Backward Class (OBC-NCL): 65%. (ii) Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST): 60%. (iii) Defence (CW): 65%. (iv) Persons with Disabilities (PD): 65%

There is no marks relaxation for EWS category candidates in any of the participating institutes/universities

Reservation and Distribution of Seats

Reservation Policy

a) Scheduled Caste (SC): 15 % of the total seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste candidates.

b) Scheduled Tribe (ST): (i) 7.5 % of the total seats are reserved for candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe for DTU, IGDTUW, NSUT, IIITD and DSEU.

 c) Other Backward Class (OBC): 27% of the total seats are reserved for candidates belonging to Other Backward Class (Non-Creamy Layer).

 d) Economically Weaker Section (EWS): 10% of the total seats are reserved for candidates belonging to Economically Weaker Section. Further Sub-categories, namely, ‘Defence’ and ‘Person with Disabilities’ are available under each main category (General, SC, ST, OBC and EWS). e) Defence (CW): 5% of the total seats in each main category are reserved for candidates belonging to Defence sub-category in the following order of priority: Priority I – Widows/wards of Defence personnel killed in action. Required Certificate (Proof in Original) a. Service particulars with family details b. PPO of Liberalised Family Pension c. Education Concession Certificate/Widow I-Card issued by Zila/Rajya/Kendriya Sainik Board
