Apart from the standard age relaxations applicable under Government of India and Government of NCT of Delhi rules, candidates applying for the Trained Graduate Teacher (Special Education) post are eligible for the following additional relaxations:

1. Age Relaxation for SSA Resource Persons

Candidates who have worked as Resource Persons for Children with Special Needs (CWSN) under the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) are entitled to age relaxation equal to the actual number of years they served in the SSA.

This special provision recognizes the valuable teaching experience gained while working with children with special needs.

2. Additional Relaxation for Women Candidates

All women candidates are eligible for a general upper age relaxation of 10 years for this post.

3. Category-wise Age Relaxation

Candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, and other eligible categories will receive age relaxation as specified in Paragraph 7 (Category-wise Age Relaxation Table) of the official DSSSB advertisement.

4. Government Servants

• A maximum relaxation of 5 years.
• They must have worked for at least 120 working days in the relevant year.
