JET 2027 Eligibility Criteria: The Joint Entrance Test (JET) 2027 is conducted for admission to various undergraduate programmes in Agriculture and Allied Sciences in Rajasthan. Before applying for the course, candidates should carefully check all eligibility conditions before applying.

1. Educational Qualification
You have passed Senior Secondary (10+2) from the Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan, Ajmer, or from any other statutory board/examination recognised as equivalent by the concerned university. The candidate must have studied the required subjects in the Science/Agriculture stream. उम्मीदवार ने राजस्थान माध्यमिक शिक्षा बोर्ड, अजमेर या किसी अन्य मान्यता प्राप्त/समकक्ष बोर्ड से 10+2 परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण की होनी चाहिए। आवश्यक विषय Science/Agriculture stream में होने चाहिए।

Here, A = Agriculture, B = Biology, C = Chemistry, M = Mathematics, and P = Physics. ध्यान दें: उम्मीदवार को JET में उन्हीं विषयों में परीक्षा देनी होगी, जिन्हें उसने Class 12 में पढ़ा/पास किया है। अलग विषय में JET परीक्षा देने पर admission process में disqualification हो सकती है।
B.Tech. Food Technology
For B.Tech. Food Technology, candidates must have studied one of these combinations in Class 12:
PCM / PCB / PCMB / PCA
उम्मीदवार को JET में भी Class 12 में पढ़े/दिए गए संबंधित तीन विषयों में ही परीक्षा देनी होगी।
B.Tech. Dairy Technology
For B.Tech. Dairy Technology, the requirement is strict: Physics + Chemistry + Mathematics (PCM) उम्मीदवार के 10+2 में Physics, Chemistry और Mathematics होना जरूरी है। साथ ही JET examination में भी उसे PCM ही attempt करना होगा।

Arts and Commerce Students
Candidates who have passed Class 12 from the Arts or Commerce stream are not eligible for JET 2027. Arts और Commerce stream से 12वीं पास उम्मीदवार JET 2027 के लिए eligible नहीं हैं।
Minimum Marks – न्यूनतम अंक
Candidates must have secured at least 50% marks in Class 12 (10+2).
Class 12 में कम से कम 50% अंक जरूरी हैं।
A 5% relaxation is available to candidates belonging to:
- SC – अनुसूचित जाति
- ST – अनुसूचित जनजाति
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)
- MBC
- SAP
- EWS
इस प्रकार इन categories के eligible candidates के लिए prescribed 5% marks relaxation उपलब्ध है।
Important: जिन candidates ने 5% relaxation का लाभ लिया है, उन्हें UR/General category में consider नहीं किया जाएगा।
Supplementary in Class 12
Candidates having a supplementary in the Class 12 Board Examination 2026 will not be eligible for JET 2027. Class 12 Board Examination 2027 में supplementary आने वाले उम्मीदवार JET 2026 के लिए eligible नहीं होंगे।
Result Awaited Candidates – जिनका 12वीं का रिजल्ट बाकी है
Candidates who have appeared in the qualifying examination but whose results have not been declared before JET begins may be provisionally allowed to appear in JET. लेकिन यह provisional eligibility है। Candidate के पास option form भरते समय Class 12 का result/marksheet होना चाहिए जिसमें सभी subjects में pass होना दिखे। इसे college reporting के समय भी जमा करना होगा।
Age Limit
The candidate must be:
- Minimum Age: 16 years
- Maximum Age: 25 years
Age will be calculated as on 31 August 2026.
31 अगस्त 2026 को उम्मीदवार की न्यूनतम आयु 16 वर्ष और अधिकतम आयु 25 वर्ष होनी चाहिए। Date of birth के लिए Class 10/Secondary marksheet या competent authority द्वारा जारी certificate को मान्य माना जाएगा।
Rajasthan Domicile – राजस्थान मूल निवास
JET 2027 is primarily open to Rajasthan domicile candidates, subject to the prescribed conditions. JET 2027 मुख्य रूप से राजस्थान के मूल निवासी उम्मीदवारों के लिए है। हालांकि, private universities की 50% seats other-state candidates के लिए भी open हैं। A candidate can fulfil the Rajasthan domicile requirement through any one of the following eight related conditions prescribed in the booklet:
Criteria I – Rajasthan Domicile Certificate
Candidate के पास Rajasthan domicile certificate होना चाहिए।
Criteria II – Three Years Study in Rajasthan
Candidate ने Rajasthan के recognised institution में लगातार पिछले तीन वर्षों तक regular student के रूप में पढ़ाई की हो और qualifying subjects में Class 10, 11 और 12 Rajasthan स्थित schools से पास की हो।
Criteria III – Parent’s Residence in Rajasthan
Candidate के natural father/mother पिछले 10 वर्षों से लगातार Rajasthan में रह रहे हों, और candidate ने इस अवधि में कम से कम 5 वर्ष Rajasthan के recognised educational institution में पढ़ाई की हो।
Criteria IV –Bona fide Resident
Candidate Rajasthan का bona fide resident हो, भले ही वह वर्तमान में किसी दूसरे state में पढ़ाई कर रहा हो।
Criteria V – Rajasthan Government Employee’s Child
Candidate Rajasthan Government/eligible State Cadre AIS officer या Rajasthan Government द्वारा गठित undertaking/corporation/improvement trust/municipal body अथवा Rajasthan State University/Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan के serving/retired employee का son/daughter हो, और employee ने application की last date से पहले के तीन वर्षों तक Rajasthan में काम किया हो।
Criteria VI – Defence Personnel’s Child
Candidate Indian Defence Services (Army/Navy/Air Force) के permanent serving/retired employee का son/daughter हो, जहां personnel Rajasthan origin का हो, चाहे posting कहीं भी हो, या application की last date पर Rajasthan में posted हो।
Criteria VII – Para-Military Personnel’s Child
Candidate serving/retired Indian Para-Military Forces employee का son/daughter हो और employee Rajasthan origin का हो, चाहे posting कहीं भी हो, या application की last date पर Rajasthan में posted हो।
Criteria VIII – Rajasthan Police Personnel’s Family
Candidate Rajasthan-origin serving/retired Rajasthan Police employee का son/daughter/wife हो, irrespective of place of posting. इसके लिए employer certificate आवश्यक है।
Non-Rajasthan Candidates – राजस्थान के बाहर के उम्मीदवार
Candidates who do not fulfil any of the prescribed Rajasthan domicile criteria will be considered under the Unreserved/General category. ऐसे candidates अपने caste category benefit, concessional application fee या government college allotment का दावा नहीं कर सकते। However, 50% seats of private universities in Rajasthan are open to all candidates appearing in JET 2027. यानी private universities की remaining 50% seats में other-state candidates भी admission के लिए eligible हो सकते हैं।
SAP Eligibility – विशेष रूप से सक्षम उम्मीदवार
Candidates with 40% or above benchmark disability can avail the prescribed SAP reservation benefits. SAP reservation के लिए minimum 40% disability जरूरी है। If an SAP candidate requires a scribe, this option must be selected while filling the online application form. जरूरत पड़ने पर SAP candidates को examination में हर एक घंटे के लिए 20 मिनट compensatory time दिया जाएगा। अगर बाद में पाया जाता है कि candidate ने scribe/compensatory time का लाभ लिया लेकिन required disability level नहीं था, तो उसकी evaluation, counselling और admission से candidature cancel की जा सकती है। SAP category/sub-category को application submit करने के बाद बदला नहीं जा सकता।

JET 2027 Eligibility Criteria: TSP Area – TSP क्षेत्र के उम्मीदवार
For JET 2027 Eligibility Criteria, TSP Area reservation, only candidates belonging to the ST category are eligible. TSP Area reservation का लाभ केवल ST category के candidates को मिलेगा।
Category Certificate – कैटेगरी प्रमाण-पत्र
Reservation benefits will be provided according to the Government of Rajasthan rules adopted by the State Agriculture Universities.
Caste certificate:
- competent authority द्वारा issued होना चाहिए; और
- candidate की photograph होनी चाहिए।
OBC/MBC/EWS Certificate
OBC/MBC/EWS certificate allotted college में reporting के समय one year से अधिक पुराना नहीं होना चाहिए. OBC candidates के certificate में Non-Creamy Layer status clearly mentioned होना चाहिए। Certificate और affidavit prescribed validity conditions को पूरा करना चाहिए।
Defence/Paramilitary/Police Ward Reservation
Eligible Defence/Paramilitary/Police wards के लिए reservation में अलग-अलग priority categories दी गई हैं, जिनमें मुख्य रूप से शामिल हैं:
- Priority I: Action में killed Defence/Police/Paramilitary personnel के wards/widows.
- Priority II: Action में disabled और service से boarded-out personnel के wards.
- Priority III: Service के दौरान relevant service कारणों से death होने वाले personnel के wards/widows.
- Priority IV: Service-related disability के कारण boarded-out personnel के wards.
- Priority V: Gallantry Award प्राप्त serving/ex-servicemen personnel के wards.
- Priority VI: Ex-servicemen के wards.
- Priority VII: निर्दिष्ट परिस्थितियों में eligible Defence/Paramilitary/Police personnel की wives.
- Priority VIII: Serving Defence/Police/Paramilitary personnel के wards.
- Priority IX: Serving Defence/Police/Paramilitary personnel की wives.
इस quota की 50% reserved seats girls के लिए earmarked हैं। अगर girls इन seats का उपयोग नहीं करती हैं, तो seats boys category में वापस जा सकती हैं।
Important: इस specific reservation में केवल serving Rajasthan Police personnel के wards/widows eligible हैं। दूसरे राज्यों के Police personnel के wards/widows इस reservation के लिए eligible नहीं हैं।
Documents for JET 2027 Eligibility Criteria– पात्रता साबित करने वाले दस्तावेज
Admission/registration के समय candidate को JET 2027 Eligibility Criteria के आधार पर इस्तेमाल किए गए original documents/certificates जमा करने होंगे।
साथ में:
- एक self-attested set of documents
- तीन photographs
लेकर जाना होगा। Candidate की photograph वही होनी चाहिए जो online application में upload की गई थी।
अगर eligibility किसी serving employee/personnel की service condition पर आधारित है, तो employer certificate उचित authentication और verification के साथ देना होगा।

सबसे जरूरी बात: JET 2027 के लिए केवल exam form भर देना eligibility की guarantee नहीं है। Candidate को 12th subjects + required marks + age + domicile + category/document conditions सभी को पूरा करना होगा। बाद में document verification में eligibility नहीं मिलने पर admission/allotment cancel किया जा सकता है।
