The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) conducts admissions for Class VI each year through the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST). Atleast 75% of the seats in a district will be filled by candidates provisionally selected from rural areas of the district.

NVS Admission 2025 Eligibility Criteria
- Students must be studying in Class V for the entire academic session 2024-25 in a government/government-aided or other recognized school.
- Age criteria usually range from 9 to 13 years as of May 1, 2025 (check the exact dates in the official notification).

Step-1: Open your search engine and visit on the official website i.e.

Step-3: After Clicking on Your screen will appear 3-Columns.
Step-4: In Middle Looking for “Online application for Admission to Class VI (2025-26)”.
Step-5: Fill Student Required personal details.

- Simplification of Numerical Expressions
- Fractional numbers – addition and subtraction of like fraction and multiplication (unlike fraction and division of fractional numbers not included)
- Profit and loss without calculation of percentage (calculation of percentage of profit and loss is exempted from the topic)
- Perimeter and area – perimeter of polygon, area of square rectangle and triangle (as a part of rectangle)
- Types of angle and its simple applications
- Data analysis using bar diagram, graph and line chart.
SELECTION PROCESS:
- The result of JNV Selection Test 2025 is expected to be announce by March, 2025 for summer bound JNVs & in May, 2025 for Winter Bound JNVs.
