Delhi government proposes legislation to regulate coaching centre-After the recent incident of death of three UPSC aspirants Delhi Education Minister Atishi on Wednesday has announced plans to bring in a law for regulating coaching centres in the capital

Ms. Atishi said we want to bring a long-term solution, the Coaching Institutes Regulation Act will be introduced,” the minister told reporters.

The law also specify the qualification of teachers who teach in this institutes and the institute’s requirement of minimum infrastructure to run the institute.

After the July 27 lot of media houses showed the pathetic condition of these institutes how the students are forced to continue their coaching in these institutes.

The Delhi government will not stop here Ms.Atishi said the fee will also be regulated as this has also emerged as a concern among students. A restriction will be put on the coaching centres for misleading advertisement they give.

This process will not be one time a regular inspection will be done on these institutes. The government will seek public feedback for the formulation of law.

But question arises the Delhi has been hub for various coaching institutes and the area like laxmi nagar in east delhi and sarvpriya vihar where a good number of institutes flourish. Are these areas be overlooked by the government.
