Rashtriya Indian Military College has released the notification for the qualifying examination which is to be held on December 1st, 2024 for the academic session July, 2025. This examination is for the admission of students (Boys and Girls) to class VIII. The examination will be conducted in two shifts F.N.(Morning Time) and A.N.(Afternoon Time).

- The Written Exam will consist 3 papers i.e. English, Mathematics and General Knowledge.
- The medium of exam will be English and Hindi for Mathematics and General Knowledge.
- The Interview will be held to test the Intelligence, Personality and Communication of the student.
- The prospectus –cum- application form and booklet of old question papers can be obtained through speed post from “The Commandant, Rashtriya Indian Military College, Garhi Cantt., Dehradun, Uttarakhand, Pin 248003 by sending a written request with a Demand Draft to the Value of Rs.600/- for General candidates and Rs.555/- for SC/ST candidates along with Community Certificate, drawn in favour of “THE COMMANDANT, RIMC FUND”, DRAWEE BRANCH, HDFC BANK, BALLUPUR CHOWK, DEHRADUN (BANK CODE -1399) UTTARAKHAND.
POINTS TO BE NOTED:
- The address of “ THE COMMANDANT, RASHTRIYA INDIAN MILITARY COLLEGE, GARHI CANTT., DEHRADUN, UTTARAKHAND, PIN 248 003” should be typed / written clearly in CAPITAL LETTERS with pincode and contact number.
- The application forms issued by Rashtriya Indian Military College only shall be valid. Application form locally printed / Photo copied and without RIMC Hologram (Seal) will be rejected.
- No refund of the application fee will be done under any condition.
RIMC Admission Qualification
- Age of the candidate should not be less than 11 ½ years and should not have attained the age of 13 years as on July 01, 2025.
- The candidate may have passed or studying in class VII from recognized school at the time of admission i.e. on July 01, 2025.
