Evaluation of Answer Scripts

TG LAWCET Reservation of Seats
As per G.O. Ms. No. 15, Higher Education (TE) Department, dated February 27, 2025, the following local-area reservation rules apply to admissions in educational institutions in Telangana.

85% Local Reservation and 15% Unreserved Seats
85% of the seats in each course will be reserved for local candidates of the Osmania University (OU) area, as defined under the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations and Admissions) Order, 1974, as amended from time to time.
The remaining 15% of seats will be unreserved. The following categories of candidates can be considered for these seats:
1. Local candidates of the OU area
Candidates who are eligible to be considered as local candidates of the Osmania University area.
2. Candidates with 10 years of residence in Telangana
Candidates who have resided in the State for a total period of 10 years, excluding periods of study outside the State. Candidates may also qualify if either of their parents has resided in the State for 10 years, excluding periods of employment outside the State.
3. Children of employees working in Telangana
Candidates whose parents are employed in the Telangana State Government, Central Government, Public Sector Corporations, Local Bodies, Universities or similar quasi-public institutions located within the State.
4. Spouses of eligible employees
Candidates who are spouses of employees working for the State or Central Government, Public Sector Corporations, Local Bodies, Universities, recognised educational institutions or similar quasi-government institutions within Telangana.
