Refund of Examination Fee for Candidates Appearing in CBT

Candidates who appear in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) will be eligible for a refund of the applicable examination fee, after deduction of the prescribed bank charges.

The refund will be credited only to a bank account linked (seeded) with the candidate’s Aadhaar number.

Aadhaar-Linked Bank Account for Fee Refund

During the application process, candidates will be required to validate their Aadhaar number. After successful Aadhaar validation:

  • The bank account already linked with the candidate’s Aadhaar will be displayed for confirmation.
  • This account will be used for processing the examination fee refund.
  • If no Aadhaar-seeded bank account is available, the candidate will be redirected to the NPCI portal to link Aadhaar with a bank account in real time.
  • After completing the Aadhaar-bank account linking process, the candidate will be redirected back to the application page to complete the remaining application process.
  • Candidates who do not have a bank account can provide the Aadhaar-linked bank account of a family member, following the prescribed procedure.

Important: Candidates should ensure that the Aadhaar and bank-account details provided during the application process are correctly validated to avoid issues with the examination fee refund.
