Prime Minister Narendra Modi released former President Ram Nath Kovind’s autobiography, Triumph of the Indian Republic: My Life, My Struggles, today at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi. The launch was scheduled for 9:30 AM.
Brief description
The autobiography chronicles Ram Nath Kovind’s journey from his early life and struggles to his distinguished public career and eventual service as the 14th President of India. The book reflects on his experiences, challenges, public service and the democratic and constitutional values that shaped his journey.
At the launch, PM Modi described the title as particularly apt: Kovind Ji’s life and struggles were personal, but the triumph arising from those struggles belongs to the Indian Republic and its democracy. Modi also encouraged young people to read the autobiography and learn from Kovind’s life and experiences.
