RRB Technician 2026 Exam Date
There are two different RRB Technician recruitment cycles that can easily be confused.
For the latest RRB Technician Recruitment 2026, CEN 02/2026, the CBT exam date has not yet been announced. The recruitment has 6,557 vacancies for Technician Grade-I Signal and Grade-III posts, and the application process has already closed. The application form correction window has been cloased too which opened on August 1 to closed on August 10.
The result for the earlier technician recruitment of 2025 has been declared and document verification process for appointment of these candidates is going on.

Important clarification
The 6, 9, 10 and 13 March 2026 exam dates that appear in some search results relate to the earlier RRB Technician recruitment, CEN 02/2025, not the new CEN 02/2026 recruitment.
Once RRB announces the schedule, the exam date, city intimation slip and admit-card dates should be updated immediately.

Conclusion
RRB Technician 02/2026 application form correction window closed on August 10 and now the RRB will announce the exam date. Before that it will announce the city intimation slip and admit card card. Candidates will be able to know their exam city before the exam so that they could plan their timing of reaching the exam centre as the time given to report at the centre. City Centre initimation slip is not an admit card, RRB will release the admit card later
