- Log in to your candidate portal

- Open the challenge link
- Click the “Challenge Answer Key / Provisional Answer Key Challenge” button visible during the objection period.
- Select questions to challenge
- You will see your question paper set and provisional answers; select the question(s) you want to dispute.
- Upload supporting evidence
- You may need to enter justification (sometimes upload a screenshot or book‑page image) to support that your answer is correct.
- Pay the objection fee
- NTA charges ₹200 per question challenged; this is non‑refundable unless your challenge is accepted and the key is revised.
- Payment is done online (credit/debit/UPI/net banking).
- Submit the challenge
- After payment, submit the objections within the specified deadline. No late challenges are accepted.
After you challenge
- All objections reviewed by a panel of subject experts.
- If your challenge is acceptable, the answer key revised and the final key (used for results) reflects the correction for all candidates.
