AFMS BSc Nursing Admission 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility conditions:

  • Be an unmarried, divorced, legally separated, or widowed female without encumbrances.
  • Be a Citizen of India.
  • Be born between 1 October 2001 and 30 September 2009 (both dates inclusive).
  • Have passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary Examination) in the first attempt with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology), and English from a recognized board.
  • Secure at least 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.
  • Meet the prescribed medical and physical fitness standards.

Physical Standards

  • Minimum height: 152 cm
  • Candidates from Hill and North-Eastern States: 147 cm
  • Candidates below 18 years are allowed a 2 cm growth allowance.
  • Height-weight standards are applicable as prescribed by the Armed Forces.

Bond Conditions

  • Terminates training, or
  • Refuses to accept the Commission,

she will be liable to pay the prescribed bond amount in proportion to the training received.

Candidates leaving the course after seven days of admission are also required to pay bond money as per the agreement.
