IIT Latest Breaking News: IIT Hyderabad, IIT BHU, IIT Patna & IIT Kharagpur

IIT Hyderabad is studying various structure in Amravati and a two  team member team from IIT began its work of various structures in Amaravati on Friday.

The team includes Dr Munwar Basha and Dr KVL Subramaniam, professors, department of civil engineering, IIT Hyderabad, they inspected buildings at legislators quarters, AIS officers’ quarters and permanent secretariat during their day-long visit.

The Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) has appointed two teams from IIT Hyderabad and IIT Madras to assess structural stability of the buildings which were left incomplete during the previous YSRCP regime.

Sources said that another team from IIT Madras would arrive in Amaravati on Monday and conduct their study separately.

IIT BHU, is set to increase its faculty numbers from 360 to 650 over the next three years.

Director of IIT BHU, Prof. Amit Patra, said  interviews are going on and advertisements are also being done to expedite this process.

 IIT Patna Prof. Patra said that IIT BHU had several departments, such as pharmaceutical, ceramic, mining, civil engineering, electrical, and mechanical engineering, that had provided significant academic leadership in the country.

B.S. 4-year programme/Integrated B.S.- M.S./M.Sc./B.E./B. Tech. or equivalent degree, with 55% marks and passing of NET-LS/GATE Test 60% (or higher) in 10th and 12^th

Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree level in the following disciplines:

Chemical Engineering/Technology, Materials Science/Engineering, Nanoscience, Nanotechnology, Metallurgical Engineering, Ceramic Engineering/Technology, Polymer Science/Technology, Ceramic Engineering/Technology, Environmental Engineering, Energy Science and Engineering, Chemical and Electrochemical Engineering, Physics and Chemistry.
