Model Answer Key
The Board will publish the Model Answer Keys on its official website for a limited period after the examination. Candidates can log in using their credentials and view the answer keys.
JELET Answer Key 2027 Challenge
If a candidate finds any discrepancy in the JELET 2027 answer key, they can challenge the concerned question through the online mode. A fee of ₹500 per question, along with applicable bank service charges, has to be paid for submitting a challenge. The challenge fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
After receiving the challenges, the Board will examine them and publish the Final and Frozen JELET Answer Key 2027. The decision of the Board regarding the challenges will be treated as final, and no further communication will be entertained.
OMR and Machine-Read Response
The images of candidates’ OMR sheets and machine-read responses will be made available on the Board’s website for a limited period, tentatively one week after the examination.
Candidates can log in with their password to view their OMR images and captured responses. They are advised to download and preserve a copy of their OMR and machine-read responses for future reference.
Challenge Against Captured Responses
If a candidate is not satisfied with the responses captured by the machine, they can submit an online challenge by paying ₹500 per question, plus applicable bank service charges. The fee paid for challenging the captured responses will not be refunded.
The Board will examine the challenge and take the final decision. Challenges submitted through email, letter, fax, telephone, or any mode other than the prescribed online process will not be accepted.
JELET Rank Card and Result
The JELET result 2027 will be declared in the form of a Rank Card. The rank card will contain the candidate’s relevant rank, total score, and component-wise scores for the respective paper. Candidates will be able to view and download their Rank Card by logging into the Board’s website using their password. WBJEEB does not publish a public rank list, as it maintains confidentiality of individual candidates’ results.
It is important to note that a Rank Card with scores will be issued to candidates who appear in JELET. However, every candidate may not necessarily be awarded a rank. Candidates must meet the cut-off rank and/or cut-off score decided by the Board to become eligible for counselling.
Grievance Regarding JELET Score
Candidates who have any grievance regarding their score can raise a query through email at info@wbjeeb.in within 24 hours of result declaration.
The candidate must attach relevant documents/details, including:
- Copy of the OMR
- Rank Card
- Question booklet number
- Question booklet series code
- Question-wise calculation of the score
Candidates who want to make a physical representation can do so up to 12:00 noon on the next working day after publication of the result. No grievance or query will be entertained after the prescribed deadline.
Obtaining a Score Calculation Sheet
Candidates can calculate their score themselves using their machine-read responses and the published Final Answer Key. If a candidate requires an official calculation sheet from the Board, they can apply to WBJEEB by submitting a Demand Draft of ₹500 in favour of “West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board”, payable at Kolkata. This facility will remain available until 60 days after the declaration of the result or completion of counselling, whichever is later.
