However, the 2026 schedule can be used as a broad reference. In 2026, the application process was initially scheduled from March 25 to April 22, 2026, while the examination was tentatively scheduled for June 14, 2026.

WBJEE ANM GNM 2027 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are expected to fulfil eligibility conditions related to citizenship, West Bengal domicile, age, educational qualification, language, and medical fitness. Based on the latest available 2026 information, candidates must meet the following requirements.

Citizenship

The applicant must be a citizen of India.

West Bengal Domicile

Candidates must be permanent residents of West Bengal. For admission to ANM(R) and GNM, candidates are required to have been permanent residents of West Bengal continuously for at least the last 10 years up to December 31, 2025, as specified for the 2026 admission cycle.

Candidates satisfying the domicile condition must submit the prescribed Domicile Certificate during the admission process. The exact domicile cut-off date for 2027 will be confirmed in the 2027 information bulletin.

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognised Board with at least 40% aggregate marks.
  • SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates get a 5% relaxation.
  • Candidates must have passed English in Class 12.
  • Vocational candidates are eligible if they meet the prescribed Healthcare Science/Community Healthcare subject requirements.
  • Candidates with the specified West Bengal Higher Secondary (Vocational) qualifications in Community Healthcare/Home Science may also apply, subject to the prescribed conditions.

Age Limit for WBJEE ANM GNM 2027
