RIMCEE 2027

The RIMCEE 2027 application form is open for admission to the Rashtriya Indian Military College, which is a feeder to the National Defence Academy and Indian Naval Academy. It aims to prepare young cadets for careers in the Armed Forces and develop them into capable leaders who can contribute to the nation’s defence services.

RIMC Admission Process and Academic Terms

The Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC) conducts its academic session in two terms every year. The Spring Term runs from 17 January to 31 May, while the Autumn Term is held from 17 July to 30 November. The periods between these terms are observed as vacations.

Admissions to RIMC are conducted twice a year through a state-wise/zone-wise merit system. The tentative intake for each term is 25 boy cadets and 10 girl cadets, although the actual number of vacancies is decided by the competent authority and notified before or at the beginning of the admission process.

RIMC Selection Process

Admission is based purely on merit and involves the following stages:

  1. All-India Written Examination – Candidates first appear for the RIMCEE 2027 entrance examination.
  2. Interview – Candidates shortlisted on the basis of the written examination are called for an interview.
  3. Medical Examination – Candidates who qualify in the interview and secure a position in the merit list undergo a medical examination.
  4. Final Selection – Admission is offered to candidates who meet the required merit and medical fitness criteria.

RIMC Entrance Exam 2027: Age Limit and Educational Qualification

RIMC conducts admissions twice a year for its January (Spring) and July (Autumn) terms. Candidates must meet the prescribed age and educational requirements for the term for which they seek admission.

Educational Qualification

RIMCEE 2027 exam begins its academic session from Class VIII. Therefore, candidates applying for admission must:

  • Be studying in Class VII, or
  • Have passed Class VII from a recognised school.

The School Study Certificate should be issued by the Principal of the candidate’s current school. It should include the candidate’s photograph and attest the date of birth as per school records and the class in which the candidate is studying.

RIMC Entrance Exam Syllabus

The RIMC Entrance Examination syllabus is prescribed by RIMC and is designed to assess the candidate’s academic aptitude and suitability for rigorous military training.
