NORCET 12 Syllabus 2026: Subject-Wise Topics and INC Norms
The NORCET 12 syllabus is an important aspect you must know to qualify the AIIMS NORCET 12. AIIMS does not specify the topics you should focus on to qualify the exam.
AIIMS AIIMS does not prescribe a detailed topic-wise syllabus for the examination. Instead, candidates are expected to prepare based on the syllabus of their qualifying nursing course, whether BSc Nursing, Post Basic BSc Nursing, or GNM.
We have given the topics what is set by INC in their syllabus which is taught in every Nursing course. You can also check the qualifying marks given here. Our advice to the candidates to aim higher than qualifying marks as qualifying marks would not include you in the merit list.

AIIMS NORCET 12 Qualifying Marks Are an Eyewash? Here’s Why
Yes, it can be argued that the AIIMS NORCET 12 qualifying marks are somewhat of an eyewash if a candidate assumes that merely achieving the minimum qualifying score will be enough to secure selection.
Candidates must understand one important point: if your only target is to score the qualifying marks in Stage I or Stage II, you may have little or no chance of making it to the final selection.
The reason is simple. NORCET attracts a large number of highly competitive and talented nursing candidates. Many candidates are capable of scoring 80–90% or even higher in the examination. Therefore, simply crossing the prescribed qualifying percentage does not guarantee a place in the merit list.
