TG LAWCET 3-Year LL.B. Eligibility Criteria
Candidates seeking admission to the 3-year LL.B. course through TG LAWCET must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Candidates must have passed a Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3 pattern) from a recognised university or an equivalent qualification recognised by the concerned university.
- The minimum aggregate marks required are:

Eligibility Through Postgraduation or B.Ed.

Important Eligibility Conditions
- Candidates who obtained a degree through a single sitting without completing the prescribed three-year degree course through regular, private, or correspondence mode are not eligible.
- Candidates who obtained a degree directly through an Open University without the required basic qualification are also not eligible.
- A Polytechnic Diploma is considered equivalent to Intermediate (+2) as per the applicable government order.
- Candidates appearing in the final year of graduation can appear for TG LAWCET in anticipation of their results. However, they must have completed their graduation before counselling/admission.
Correspondence and External Degree Candidates
Candidates who have completed their degree through correspondence or external mode should carefully check the latest TS/TG LAWCET 2027 eligibility provisions and relevant court directions before applying, as eligibility in certain cases has been subject to judicial proceedings.
In particular, the Telangana High Court has held that B.A. External graduates of Osmania University are not eligible for admission to the 3-year LL.B. course. Candidates with such qualifications should carefully review the relevant court judgment before applying.

Candidates who are appearing for their Intermediate final-year examination can also appear for TG LAWCET in anticipation of their results. However, they must have successfully passed the qualifying examination at the time of counselling/admission.
